Privacy & cookie policy
How we handle your personal data, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Titan by Fade Ltd, trading as Titans by Fàdé, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site and in the course of our security services.
Registered address: 35 Linden Grove, Nunhead, London SE15 3JY
Email: hello@titansbyfade.co.uk
Phone: 07311 843507
2. What personal data we collect
- Enquiries and quotes: your name, phone number, email address, the service you need and any details you give us about your venue, event, home or premises.
- Clients: contact details, site addresses, booking and rota information, incident reports and invoicing records.
- Staff and applicants: identity documents, SIA licence numbers, right-to-work evidence and, where required, DBS check results.
- Website visitors: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider for security and performance monitoring.
- CCTV and body-worn cameras: where our officers operate cameras on a client's site, footage may capture members of the public. We do this under our client's instructions and on their premises; signage is displayed where recording takes place.
3. Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — legitimate interests and, if you go ahead, performance of a contract.
- To deliver security services, manage rotas and record incidents — performance of a contract and legal obligation (Private Security Industry Act 2001, licensing conditions).
- To verify staff licences and right to work — legal obligation.
- To keep our website secure and improve it — legitimate interests.
- To send you information about our services after you have enquired — legitimate interests; you can opt out at any time.
We never sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who we share it with
We only share personal data with providers that help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Formspree (formspree.io) — delivers messages sent through our quote form to our inbox. Formspree is based in the USA; transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Zoho Mail — our email provider, hosted in the EU.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery network.
- Google — web fonts on every page, and Google Maps on the contact page if you choose to load it.
- Clients, insurers, the police or the SIA — where necessary to deliver a contract, handle an incident or meet a legal duty.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become bookings: 12 months.
- Client records, incident reports and invoices: 6 years after the end of the contract, for legal, insurance and tax purposes.
- Staff records: 6 years after employment ends; SIA licence records for as long as the SIA requires.
- CCTV and body-worn footage: 31 days unless retained for an incident, complaint or legal request.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@titansbyfade.co.uk. We will respond within one month and will not charge a fee unless a request is clearly excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Security
Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled systems. Our website is served over HTTPS only. Access to client and staff records is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
8. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not run analytics by default. The only cookies or similar technologies that may be set are:
- Strictly necessary: security and load-balancing cookies set by our host, Vercel, which do not identify you.
- Third party, on your request only: if you click "Show map" on the contact page, Google Maps may set its own cookies. Nothing is loaded until you choose.
Because we do not set non-essential cookies, no cookie banner is required. If we add analytics in future we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
9. Children
Our services and website are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
